I am an HCI Researcher with a deep passion for understanding how emerging technologies can be situated in the existing cultural identities and practices of people’s lives.
I Research Design Develop Emerging Technologies Through Community-Based Design Methods.
Through community-based participatory design, I am researching AI & Mixed Reality for face-to-face scenarios.
I study, design, and build emerging technologies while understanding the social-technical implications of their use.
I am a Ph.D. candidate in Informatics where I am designing and building wearable applications with historically excluded populations within the Games+Learning+Society (GLS) lab. I am also an affiliate of the Connected Learning Lab ( CLL) and the Steckler Center for Responsible, Ethical, and Accessible Technology (CREATE). My research interests include Human-Computer Interaction, Social Computing, Mixed Reality, Human-AI Interaction, & Educational and Wearable Technologies.

About Me.
I have designed and implemented primary qualitative research with youth participants, collaborated with Snapchat researchers and lab colleagues to co-design an application for a wearable device, and have developed wearable mindfulness training prototypes for the Apple watch. At Boston College, I led cross-functional teams to solve knowledge gaps in STEM education and designed exploratory research studies and evaluations that drove strategic design of novel pedagogy. Additionally, I have founded Neutek Web Services, LLC, where I developed custom websites, implemented A/B testing, and performed user-centered digital marketing research for various clients.
